Cyclone Montha Live Updates: Cyclone Intensifies Into Severe Storm, Landfall Likely on Andhra Coast Tonight

Severe cyclonic storm Montha has further intensified, the IMD noted on Monday. The storm is expected to make landfall anywhere on the Andhra Pradesh coast in the evening or late night, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds thereto.

Mass evacuations are going on; the vulnerable populations in the low-lying coastal areas are currently being shifted to safer shelters.
